C-Store New Construction – Chickasaw Tribal Properties – I-35 & Hwy. 7

Underground Tank Install

Oak Hills Travel Stop is a new addition to the very successful Casino and Travel Centers of the Chickasaw Nation. This new site was the renewal of an old C-store site. The old facilities were raised and an entirely new concept was developed. Petroleum Marketers and Equipment worked with the tribal staff, the engineers and architects from the inception to place the fuel islands and store to help best set up customer walking and fueling flow. This helped minimize traffic and pedestrian conflict as well as maximize the overall customer buying experience. This project is part of the Tribes master plan for the site and is just Phase 1.

The picture on the left shows the tank installation using dead man tie-downs as part of the government and tribe requirements to secure the tanks. This is a far more extensive installation process. Further PME used 3/8” washed gravel for exact long-term tank level maintenance. Proper investment on the front end of a projects saves hundreds of thousands of future dollars not to mention possible lost revenue. PME performed all OCC and EPA testing and made sure the site was both safe and built to exceed all regulatory requirements.

Tank placement and long term utility are paramount to the success of any facility. So using an experienced provider like PME to help guide you and guard you against possible long term cost is invaluable. The Oak Hill project will be completed in early summer 2013 and will provide the Chickasaw Nation a state of the art fuel and convenience store site that boost the sales and revenue to the Chickasaw Nation for decades to come.

The Fuel Master console allows the fuel operator to monitor fuel usage, monitor fuel levels, adjust fuel pricing and many other management needs via there office computer or lap top.
